Parent Auxiliary

Welcome to St. Andrew’s Children’s Place Parent’s Auxiliary Group (PAX)!  The purpose of this group is to assist the staff with special activities, fundraisers, staff recognition, and events scheduled throughout the year.  We would like to invite you to be a part of the team!  There are leadership opportunities and support roles, long term and short term commitments—basically, something for everyone!  All parents are invited to participate. Volunteer opportunities listed below.  Please let us know if you would like to help!

Be a central contact for parents in your class, coordinate class events and possibly help with school events

Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts

October 5th and November 6th, February 1st, April 3rd (on Teacher Inservice Days)

Bring breakfast foods for teachers (can coordinate with other parents for this)

Open Houses October 16th and February 7th Just bring some cookies - 4 dozen per class

Ride-a-Thon

October 26th

Set-up, clean-up, snack prep, etc.

Book Fair

December 3 - 7

Set-up, clean-up, cashier, bookkeeping, etc.

Christmas Program

December 14th

(10:00 - 11:00)

Backdrop decorating, bringing cookies, serving snacks and punch

Easter Egg Hunts   Get eggs from teachers and hide them
Pajama Party and Pancake Breakfast April 18th Serve Food

Splash Days

May 6 - 8

Set-up, facilitate individual classes, clean-up

Year End Program

May 16th

Same as Christmas program

Seamstress

As needed basis

Alter clothes and doll clothes for Dramatic Play

Woodworker As needed basis Mend toys, puzzles, games
Gardening Club As needed basis - coordinated by Ms. Young Weedin', waterin', seatin', and grinnin'!!!!!
