Parent Auxiliary

Welcome to St. Andrew’s Children’s Place Parent’s Auxiliary Group (PAX)!  The purpose of this group is to assist the staff with special activities, fundraisers, staff recognition, and events scheduled throughout the year.  We would like to invite you to be a part of the team!  There are leadership opportunities and support roles, long term and short term commitments—basically, something for everyone!  All parents are invited to participate. Volunteer opportunities listed below.  Please let us know if you would like to help!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Provide breakfast, lunch, incentives, small gifts each day for the week

Open Houses February Cookies or brownies - 4 dozen per class

Ride-a-Thon

October 23rd

Set-up, clean-up, snack prep, etc.

Book Fair

November 16-20

Barnes & Noble location: Auction items, set-up, clean-up

Christmas Program

December 18th

(10:00 - 11:00)

Backdrop decorating, bringing cookies, serving snacks and punch

Easter Egg Hunts March 31 - April 1
Get eggs from teachers and hide them outside
Ride-a-Thon
April 16 Set-up, clean up, snack prep, etc.

End of Year Picnic

May 14th

Organize food, games

Seamstress

As needed basis

Alter and repair clothes for Dramatic Play Center

Woodworker As needed basis Mend toys, puzzles, games, playground equipment
Gardening Club As needed basis - coordinated by Ms. Young Weedin', waterin', seedin', and grinnin'!!!!!
